Fabrication and delivery of 2200mm dia flanged galvanised circular ductwork, manufactured to meet project-specific structural and airflow performance requirements for continuous ventilation operations, providing adequate airflow for personnel and plant throughout the construction of the North East Link Package.The duct is specifically manufactured to accommodate high-volume air delivery from mechanical ventilation plant, ensuring ventilation requirements are met for confined underground works.
Key elements of the project included:
- Fabrication of flanged straight sections, elbows, reducers, and ancillary fittings required for the ventilation layout.
- Fabrication using 1.6mm corrugated Z275 galvanised steel to achieve the required durability and structural integrity.
- Transport and delivery of ductwork and fittings to site.
- Coordination with site teams to ensure the ductwork interfaces correctly with the ventilation fans and support systems.
